This project dives into the theme of escaping from a place that no longer feels like home. Inspired by Houdini’s words, “THE GREATEST ESCAPE I EVER MADE WAS WHEN I LEFT APPLETON, WISCONSIN,” the series captures moments from my final year in my hometown. What was once familiar has now become a prison, a place that no longer reflects who I am or who I want to be. Through these images, it explores the emotional and psychological journey of breaking free.
